Terms of service
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, online store, Murs Club membership program, Murs Magazine, digital content, products, features, and related services operated under the Murs brand (collectively, the “Services”).
The terms “Murs,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Services.
The Services are intended for customers located in the United States.
By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, placing an order, purchasing or using a Murs Club membership, or otherwise interacting with the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND USE OF THE SERVICES
You represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when using the Services, including when placing an order, creating an account, or purchasing a membership.
You may use the Services only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes unless Murs expressly authorizes otherwise in writing.
We may refuse access to or use of the Services where permitted by applicable law.
2. ACCOUNTS AND SECURITY
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and any personalized access links provided to you.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account or credentials except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
You may not:
- sell, transfer, sublicense, or assign your account;
- share account credentials for unauthorized use;
- allow another person to improperly use membership benefits;
- circumvent account or access restrictions; or
- use another person's account without authorization.
Murs may require account verification or additional information where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, or enforcement of these Terms.
3. PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION
We attempt to provide accurate descriptions, images, measurements, specifications, availability information, and other product information.
However, product information may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, omissions, or differences resulting from:
- display settings;
- photography;
- supplier information;
- manufacturing variations;
- product updates;
- typographical errors; or
- other circumstances.
Colors, textures, dimensions, packaging, and other product characteristics may appear differently in person than on a screen.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Murs does not guarantee that every product will exactly match photographs, representations, descriptions, or customer expectations.
4. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
All products and services are subject to availability.
We may:
- limit quantities;
- discontinue products;
- restrict purchases;
- modify assortment;
- substitute or update product information;
- remove listings; or
- refuse or cancel orders,
where permitted by applicable law.
Placement of an item in your cart does not reserve or guarantee that item.
5. ORDERS
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase.
An order is not finally accepted merely because you submit it or receive an automated acknowledgment.
Murs may accept, reject, limit, or cancel an order where permitted by applicable law, including because of:
- product unavailability;
- inventory errors;
- pricing errors;
- suspected fraud;
- suspected resale;
- promotional abuse;
- payment issues;
- address or fulfillment problems;
- supplier limitations;
- technical errors; or
- violations of these Terms.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue any refund required under applicable law.
6. ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Orders may enter processing or fulfillment shortly after they are placed.
Except where required by applicable law or expressly approved by Murs, orders cannot be canceled or modified after submission.
This includes requests to change:
- products;
- quantities;
- sizes;
- colors;
- shipping addresses;
- shipping methods; or
- other order details.
Nothing in this section limits cancellation or refund rights that cannot legally be waived, including rights applicable to delayed or unshipped merchandise.
7. PRICES
Prices may change at any time before an order is placed.
The price applicable to a completed order is generally the price shown at checkout, subject to correction of errors where permitted by applicable law.
Murs may correct:
- pricing errors;
- promotional errors;
- discount errors;
- technical errors;
- typographical errors; and
- incorrectly displayed product information.
Where permitted by law, Murs may cancel an affected order rather than honor an obviously incorrect price or promotion.
8. TAXES AND OTHER CHARGES
Applicable taxes will be calculated or collected as required by law.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, prices may not include applicable taxes or other charges imposed in connection with a transaction.
Where products are fulfilled internationally, additional customs or import processing may occur depending on the shipment and applicable law.
9. PROMOTIONS, DISCOUNTS, AND MEMBER BENEFITS
Discounts, promotional offers, free shipping offers, membership benefits, promotional pricing, credits, coupons, and other benefits are subject to applicable terms and eligibility requirements.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- offers cannot be combined;
- offers have no cash value;
- offers may be limited by product, order, customer, account, geography, or time;
- offers may be modified or discontinued prospectively;
- eligibility may be verified; and
- Murs may reject or reverse improperly obtained benefits where permitted by law.
Murs may restrict or terminate access to promotions or benefits in cases of suspected:
- fraud;
- abuse;
- resale;
- manipulation;
- duplicate accounts;
- circumvention of eligibility requirements; or
- other misuse.
10. MURS CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Murs Club is a paid membership program that may provide eligible members with access to benefits such as:
- member pricing;
- discounts;
- shipping benefits;
- digital editorial content;
- member-only content;
- special offers; and
- other benefits determined by Murs.
Membership benefits may vary over time.
Specific benefits are not guaranteed to remain available indefinitely unless expressly stated otherwise.
Murs may prospectively add, modify, limit, replace, or discontinue membership benefits, subject to applicable law and any specific commitments made to members.
11. AUTOMATIC RENEWAL AND RECURRING BILLING
If you purchase a Murs Club membership that automatically renews, you authorize recurring charges according to the billing frequency, price, and other terms presented to you when you enroll.
Before you enroll, applicable material terms concerning recurring billing will be presented as required by law.
Unless canceled, your membership will continue to renew according to the applicable billing schedule.
You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.
Murs or its payment and membership providers may attempt to process applicable renewal charges using the payment method associated with your membership.
12. MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION
You may cancel future renewals using the cancellation method made available through the Services or otherwise as required by applicable law.
Cancellation generally prevents future recurring charges but does not automatically reverse charges already incurred.
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated by Murs:
- cancellation does not result in a prorated refund;
- previously paid membership fees are non-refundable; and
- membership may remain active through the end of the applicable paid billing period.
Murs may provide additional cancellation rights where required by applicable state or federal law.
13. MEMBERSHIP FEES
Membership fees are charged according to the terms displayed when you purchase the membership.
Unless required by applicable law, membership charges are non-refundable once charged.
Unused membership time, unused benefits, failure to use the membership, or dissatisfaction with available benefits does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
14. MEMBERSHIP MISUSE
Murs Club membership is intended for the member's personal use.
You may not:
- sell or resell membership benefits;
- transfer membership access;
- commercially exploit member pricing;
- purchase products for unauthorized resale using membership benefits;
- share restricted member credentials or access links;
- create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions;
- manipulate discounts or promotions;
- misuse free shipping benefits; or
- otherwise exploit the membership program.
Murs may investigate suspected misuse.
Where permitted by applicable law, we may suspend, restrict, or terminate membership privileges because of fraud, abuse, resale, manipulation, or violation of these Terms.
15. MEMBERSHIP SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION
Murs may suspend, restrict, or terminate a membership where permitted by applicable law if we reasonably determine that there has been:
- fraud;
- abusive conduct;
- payment fraud;
- chargeback abuse;
- promotion abuse;
- unauthorized resale;
- unauthorized sharing;
- misuse of membership benefits;
- violation of these Terms; or
- conduct that threatens Murs, customers, suppliers, service providers, or the Services.
Termination does not eliminate payment obligations already incurred.
Any treatment of prepaid membership fees following termination will be subject to applicable law and the circumstances of the termination.
16. SHIPPING AND FULFILLMENT
Products may be fulfilled by Murs or by third-party suppliers, fulfillment partners, or logistics providers.
Products may ship from locations within or outside the United States, including China.
An order containing multiple products may arrive in separate shipments.
Shipping, fulfillment, and delivery estimates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Actual delivery may be affected by:
- carrier delays;
- supplier processing;
- customs;
- weather;
- peak shipping periods;
- address problems;
- inventory issues;
- governmental actions; or
- other circumstances.
Murs will comply with applicable legal obligations concerning delayed or unshipped merchandise.
17. DELIVERY INFORMATION
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.
Where permitted by applicable law, Murs is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.
If a package is returned, redirected, or requires reshipment because of customer-provided information, additional charges may apply.
18. LOST, DAMAGED, OR INCORRECT ORDERS
Claims involving lost, damaged, defective, or incorrect merchandise are governed by our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.
Murs may require reasonable evidence before providing a remedy, including:
- photographs;
- packaging information;
- order details;
- carrier information; or
- other evidence reasonably necessary to investigate the issue.
We may also investigate matters with suppliers, fulfillment partners, and carriers.
19. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Purchases are subject to our Return and Refund Policy.
Unless expressly stated otherwise or required by applicable law, merchandise sold through Murs is final sale and is not eligible for return, exchange, or refund because of buyer's remorse, personal preference, sizing selection, color selection, ordering mistakes, or similar reasons.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
20. MURS MAGAZINE AND DIGITAL CONTENT
Murs may provide members or customers with access to Murs Magazine and other digital content.
Digital access may be provided through:
- personalized links;
- account-based access;
- membership credentials;
- tokens;
- or other access-control methods.
Access is personal to the authorized recipient.
You may not:
- sell access;
- redistribute private access links;
- publish restricted content;
- share access for unauthorized use;
- circumvent technical access controls; or
- facilitate unauthorized access.
Murs may revoke or restrict digital access where permitted by applicable law in response to suspected misuse, unauthorized sharing, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
21. DIGITAL ACCESS MONITORING
Murs may use technical measures to operate, secure, and monitor access to digital content as described in our Privacy Policy.
This may include recording information concerning:
- access events;
- timestamps;
- sections viewed;
- reading-time milestones;
- link interactions;
- IP addresses;
- browser or device information; and
- membership or entitlement identifiers.
Such information may be used for security, service operation, abuse prevention, dispute investigation, and other purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
22. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Services and their content, including Murs branding, trademarks, logos, designs, editorial content, text, graphics, photographs, layouts, digital publications, software, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Murs except where otherwise stated.
They are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by Murs, you may not:
- reproduce;
- distribute;
- republish;
- modify;
- sell;
- license;
- commercially exploit;
- scrape;
- systematically download; or
- create derivative works from
the Services or protected content.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
23. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Murs may offer products supplied, manufactured, fulfilled, hosted, or otherwise supported by third parties.
The Services may also contain links to third-party websites.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Murs is not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, or services that are separate from Murs.
Third-party products purchased directly through Murs remain subject to rights and obligations applicable to Murs as the seller where required by law.
24. SHOPIFY
The Murs store is powered by Shopify.
Purchases made through the Murs store are transactions between you and Murs, not Shopify.
Shopify provides technology and infrastructure supporting the Services but is not the seller of Murs products or memberships.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release Shopify and its affiliates from claims arising solely from transactions between you and Murs.
25. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You may not use the Services to:
- violate law;
- commit or facilitate fraud;
- abuse membership benefits;
- engage in unauthorized resale;
- interfere with the Services;
- introduce malware;
- bypass security measures;
- gain unauthorized access;
- impersonate another person;
- submit false information;
- scrape or systematically extract content without authorization;
- use bots or automated systems in a manner prohibited by Murs;
- interfere with another customer's use of the Services;
- infringe intellectual property rights; or
- engage in conduct that exposes Murs or others to legal or security risk.
26. AUTOMATED SYSTEMS AND AGENTS
Murs may restrict automated access to the Services.
Automated systems, software agents, bots, crawlers, scraping tools, AI agents, or similar systems may not access or interact with restricted portions of the Services in violation of technical restrictions or instructions provided by Murs.
Murs may use technical measures to prevent or limit unauthorized automated activity.
27. FRAUD AND ABUSE
Murs may investigate transactions, memberships, accounts, claims, refunds, promotions, and other activity where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.
Where permitted by applicable law, Murs may:
- reject orders;
- limit purchases;
- suspend accounts;
- cancel benefits;
- terminate memberships;
- restrict future transactions; and
- provide relevant information to payment processors, banks, card networks, service providers, law enforcement, or other appropriate parties.
28. PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS
If you believe a transaction is incorrect or there is a problem with an order or membership, you may contact us at:
Nothing in these Terms limits any lawful right you may have to dispute a transaction.
If a payment dispute or chargeback occurs, Murs may provide relevant records and evidence to payment processors, acquiring banks, issuing banks, card networks, fraud-prevention providers, or other appropriate parties.
Such records may include:
- order records;
- payment information;
- checkout information;
- membership records;
- terms accepted at checkout;
- fulfillment records;
- shipment and delivery records;
- communications;
- account information;
- digital-access records; and
- other relevant evidence.
29. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Murs may:
- perform maintenance;
- modify features;
- suspend functionality;
- discontinue features; or
- restrict access
where reasonably necessary.
30. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
EXCEPT FOR WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT LEGALLY BE DISCLAIMED, MURS DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
MURS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Nothing in this section excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
31. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MURS AND ITS OWNERS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MURS'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO A TRANSACTION OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
(A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO MURS FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
(B) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.
32. INDEMNIFICATION
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Murs and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from:
- your material violation of these Terms;
- your unlawful use of the Services;
- your infringement of another person's rights; or
- fraud or intentional misconduct committed by you.
33. TERMINATION OF ACCESS
Murs may suspend or terminate your access to some or all of the Services where permitted by applicable law, including for:
- violation of these Terms;
- fraudulent conduct;
- abusive activity;
- security risks;
- misuse of membership benefits;
- unauthorized resale;
- unauthorized sharing; or
- interference with the Services.
Any rights or obligations that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disputes, limitations of liability, payment obligations, and enforcement.
34. INFORMAL DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Before initiating arbitration, you and Murs agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.
A party seeking relief must first send a written notice describing:
- the party's name and contact information;
- the relevant order or membership, if applicable;
- the nature of the dispute;
- the relief requested; and
- information reasonably necessary to understand the claim.
Notices to Murs must be sent to:
The parties will have 30 days after receipt of a complete notice to attempt to resolve the dispute before arbitration may be initiated, except where applicable law permits immediate relief.
35. BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Except for disputes eligible for small claims court and claims that applicable law does not permit to be arbitrated, you and Murs agree that disputes arising out of or relating to the Services, purchases, memberships, these Terms, or the relationship between you and Murs will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court.
This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”).
Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under the applicable AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, unless the parties agree otherwise.
The arbitrator may award any individual remedy available under applicable law.
36. CLASS ACTION WAIVER
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AND MURS AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY.
NEITHER PARTY MAY SEEK TO HAVE A DISPUTE HEARD AS:
- A CLASS ACTION;
- A COLLECTIVE ACTION;
- A REPRESENTATIVE ACTION; OR
- A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION,
except where such waiver is prohibited by applicable law.
The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that individual's claim.
37. SMALL CLAIMS COURT
Notwithstanding the arbitration provisions above, either party may bring an eligible individual claim in small claims court.
38. GOVERNING LAW
Except where superseded by federal law or where applicable consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms and your relationship with Murs are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in this provision deprives a consumer of mandatory protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
39. JUDICIAL PROCEEDINGS
For disputes that are not subject to arbitration and are not brought in small claims court, you and Murs consent, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to the jurisdiction of appropriate state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
Mandatory consumer venue rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected.
40. PRIVACY
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy also describes certain information collected in connection with Murs Club and Murs Magazine, including digital-access and usage information.
41. CHANGES TO THE SERVICES
Murs may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue all or part of the Services, products, assortment, features, membership benefits, or functionality.
Where a change materially affects an existing paid recurring service, we will provide any notice or rights required by applicable law.
42. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Changes will be effective prospectively from the effective date stated in the revised Terms, except where applicable law permits otherwise.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice of material changes.
Your continued use of the Services after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
43. ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without Murs's prior written consent.
Murs may assign or transfer its rights or obligations in connection with:
- a merger;
- acquisition;
- sale;
- restructuring;
- financing;
- corporate reorganization; or
- transfer of all or part of the business,
subject to applicable law.
44. NO WAIVER
Failure by Murs to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive that provision or any other right.
45. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed where necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
46. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with policies and terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and Murs concerning the Services.
Separate terms may apply to specific promotions, memberships, products, or features.
If separate terms expressly conflict with these Terms with respect to a particular service or transaction, those specific terms will control for that matter.
